Chanchamayo is a town located in the Junin region of central Peru. This coffee is grown by small to medium sized family farms in Peru’s high Amazon rain forest. In addition to enhancing cup quality through abundant leaves that fertilize the soil, this practice preserves the habitats and ecosystems of migratory birds and other native animals. Chanchamayo is well known for having the finest coffee in Peru.
